The brand’s criteria for the shoot were clear: no other colour other than their brand colour, i.e. white. Because we were shooting for their new product launch, the requirement was to have pictures that matched their brand voice while also making the products stand out.

We decided to bring a bit of fun to the new sunscreen stick introduction in the most simple way! The setting and props were all kept white to match the brand hue. With the sunscreen propped between the blocks, the image gains a sense of fun and playfulness, while a little hint of light on the product creates the idea of sunlight.
The products are kept on a pure white background to match the brand’s clean and straightforward brand voice. Even though the products are the same white, they do not blend in with the background since the lighting was properly controlled. The product, when squeezed out of its component, vividly shows the texture and colour of the product. A well-thought-out graphic that highlights the product in the most straightforward way possible.

 

This adds to the lines of the brand voice for a brand that has its identity placed as transparent about their components and manufactured with ingredients backed by research, including scientific apparatus. While the white in the background highlights the products, the glass apparatus contributes to the image’s depth.
